When it comes to Cape Cod golf courses there are few courses anywhere in the world that can compete with the quality of golf that Cape Cod offers. Cape Cod boasts 13 private courses and over 30 public golf courses. With this many golf course choices available on Cape Cod any golfer from the beginner to the most advanced will be able to find a few that are their favorites.

Ballymeade Country Club
Ballymeade Country Club - a semi-private club with fantastic views of Buzzards Bay and Martha's Vineyard - houses a recently redesigned, 18-hole course. Players of all levels enjoy a day on its links. Ponds come into play on four of the course's holes. Ballymeade Country Club opens at 6 a.m., April 1 through Dec. 15. Bass River Golf Course
Bass River Golf Course, located at 62 High Bank Road in South Yarmouth, is the oldest municipal course on Cape Cod. It has 18 holes and is open all year. Water hazards come into play on 11 holes. Bayberry Hills Golf Club
Bayberry Hills Golf Club, one of the longest courses on Cape Cod, is located on West Yarmouth Road in West Yarmouth. The course was recently voted one of America's top new public courses. The 18-hole Bent grass course has a par 72 and 7,172 yards. Water hazards enter into play on five holes. Cape Cod Country Club
Cape Cod Country Club is an 18-hole championship golf course. It is located on Theatre Drive in North Falmouth. Golfers of all skill levels enjoy this course. Cape Cod Country Club, situated on the border of Coonemessett Lake, provides beautiful lake and forest views. The Cape Cod Country Club has a clubhouse with various amenities and a pro golfer. Captains Golf Course
Captains Golf Course, located at 1000 Freeman's Way in Brewster, is open all year. It consists of two courses - Port Course and Starboard Course. Award-winning architect Brian Silva designed the 18-hole courses. Amenities include a driving range, putting green, and clubhouse. Dennis Pines
Dennis Pines' golf course is recognized as one of the most difficult layouts on Cape Cod. The course's 12th hole is a particularly difficult par 5. Water comes into play on four holes, and trees provide additional challenges. The course is open all year and located on Golf Course Road in East Dennis. Hyannis Golf Club
Hyannis Golf Club is located on Iyanough Road off of Route 132 in Hyannis. It has 18 holes and a par 72. The club is open April through October. It is remarkable for its fast, even greens. Amenities include a pro shop, restaurant, bar, banquet facilities, practice range with 55 stations, three practice greens, and a lounge with a large screen television. Olde Barnstable Fairgrounds
Olde Barnstable Fairgrounds golf course, open year-round, is located off of Route 149 in Marston Mills. This course has 18 holes and a par 71. The town of Barnstable owns and operates the course, which opened in 1991. Amenities include a pro golfer, restaurant, pro shop, large driving range, practice putting area, rental clubs, and rental carts. Quashnet Valley Country Club
Quashnet Valley Country Club is located at 309 Old Barnstable Road in Mashpee. It is a beautiful 18-hole championship course situated through the Quashnet River Valley. River, swampland, and an abandoned cranberry bog come into play on almost every hole. The club has a pro shop, driving range, restaurant, bar, and banquet room. Sandwich Hollows
Sandwich Hollows has 18 holes and a par 71. The course's championship layout includes fantastic vistas and tree-lined fairways. Sandwich Hollows, located on Round Hill Road in East Sandwich, is owned and operated by the town of Sandwich. The Brookside Club
The Brookside Club was the first golf course on Cape Cod. The club, which boasts a friendly staff and outstanding service, calls itself "A Public Golf Course with a Private Club Feeling." The Club at New Seabury
The Club at New Seabury is located at 95 Shore Drive West in Mashpee. It houses two beautiful golf courses - Ocean Course and Dunes Course. Ocean Course provides spectacular views of Nantucket Sound and Martha's Vineyard, but its winds present a challenge to golfers.
